Senior Account Manager

Who you are:
You are smart and friendly. You have 6+ years of Account Management experience with consumer brands (packaging design, preferable). You are an individual with a diverse background in branding and design, ideally with experience managing both graphic and industrial design projects. You think like an entrepreneur, developing a plan for managing and building business. You listen and you are not afraid to speak up. You are highly organized and are able to prioritize time. You can engage with Creative and Production team members to ensure that projects are completed to our standard. You are able to quickly establish a sense of trust with the client. You can get up to speed swiftly on the client's business, their brands, competitive set, retail, and consumer environments.
What you'll do:
• Take ownership of all Opportunity Accounts within the agency roster (Opportunity Accounts qualify as new relationships ripe for cultivation and represent an opportunity for the agency to leverage Visual Strategy into new consumer touch points)
• Responsible for growing the Opportunity Accounts (revenue and new/adjacent opportunities)
• You will be at the forefront of our relationship, building trust and credibility with senior client leaders
• You must think like an entrepreneur, developing a plan for managing and building our business with new clients
• Responsible for overseeing all account design and strategy projects from initial briefing through completion
• You will lead the process of defining the strategic foundations of each project, including development of creative briefs, competitive analysis, identification of consumer insights, and definition of Visual Strategy
• You must work with the internal Leadership Team to develop new creative processes and strategic methodologies tailored to the needs of our clients
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Brand's projects: maintain job status, oversee project timeline development, approval, and monthly projections and invoicing
• Comment on the Creative Brief, adding strategic value to client directions prior to project kick off
• Lead the Creative Briefing, providing the internal team with:
1) overview of brand, competitive set, retail and consumer environments
2) strategic situation and challenge
3) executional assignment and mandatories
4) timing
• Lead creative reviews and compile notes on creative discussion and internal next steps
• Write and present the strategic portion of creative presentations
• Prepare creative work for presentation by reviewing for accuracy, consistency, ensuring all deliverables are met, and mandatories are addressed
• Oversee executional process from refinement, through stimulus preparation, extension, and production execution, as well as ensure all work that leaves the office is checked and proofread
• Some travel is required
